I am a writer, crafter and plot-nerd, living and working in Oxford, England – a place which is as close to a fantasy world as can be found by human means! Having been raised with traditional folk and fairy tales since I was a wee nipper, I always wanted to start writing my own. Then, in a moment of complete madness… I started doing just that! 
This site contains my short stories, and a series talking about my experiences in building my very own fantasy world. There is also a section dedicated to the wild and wacky shenanigans of my colleague, Ivan the Wyvern (seen here looking beautiful!), for whom this blog is named. And there’s some non-sensical musing on a few of the weird and wonderful aspects of Oxford and those who live here. When I’m not writing, I can usually be found either hidden behind a large stack of books as they defy the laws of physics, or tangled up in yarn and crochet hooks.
